A Night at the Opera

fuck you Paranormal Activity and your horrifying movie.

seriously I have NEVER been so scared watching a movie in my life. It's beyond terrifying and totally worth watching once

though I will never see that movie again

Started playing with the guitar and I accidentally broke one of the strings. So that's upsetting. I'll keep trying to learn how to play though this is a sad setback

Ben's classy party is this saturday

how exciting

Emasculate Me

I have finally become a Smiths fan D:

Blame it on Johnny Marr's AMAZING guitars

I am now going to print out some tabs and pick up a guitar to learn how to play his songs.

That's something I never thought would happen

Fearful Symmetry

Every now and then you see a movie so vivid and arresting that it leaves an undeniable impression. A movie that gives you a glimpse into a dark and dangerous abyss where there seems to be no light in sight. And there is no other place in the world you'd rather be

Development

This song is probably the most underrated in their vast catalog. It would be a precursor in the style of songwriting Lennon would take post-1967 and onward. It also showed Harrison going to develop his more identifiable guitar style. Keep in this mind this is PRE-White Album

Sheep dog standing in the rain.
Bull frog doing it again.
Some kind of happiness is measured out in miles.
What makes you think you're something special when you smile.
Child-like, no one understands.
Jack-knife in your sweaty hands.
Some kind of innocence is measured out in years.
You don't know what it's like to listen to your fears.
You can talk to me,
You can talk to me,
You can talk to me,
If you're lonely you can talk to me (yeah!)
Big man, yeah, walking in the park
Wigwam frightened of the dark
Some kind of solitude measured out in you.
You think you know it but you haven't got a clue.
You can talk to me,
You can talk to me,
You can talk to me,
If you're lonely you can talk to me (yeah!)
Hey bulldog (woof!), Hey bulldog, Hey bulldog
Hey bulldog
Hey man
What's that, boy?Ê (woof!)
What do you say? (I said...woof!)
D'y'know any more?
Wowu-wa! Ah!Ê (maniacal laughter)
You did it, you got it right!Ê That's it!
That's it man!
Whoo!Ê That's it! You got it!
Don't look at me, man, I only had ten children!
Quiet boy, quiet!ÊÊ OK, quiet!
Hey bulldog...

Meat is Murder

A cover of this song should not have been possible. Hell a cover of anything the original band did should be impossible. Yet here it is, done with such perfection and reverence

Delusions of Grandeur

You wish your favorite band could write like they do
